Teeny Tiny Sephora Haul

Went to Sephora yesterday for the 20% off sale for Sephora White Card members. So so glad they have the 20% off sale for Sephora Malaysia. Thought the sale was only for Sephora US. Win! ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ

Even though I was over the moon for the sale but still didn't get much since I was focus on getting one thing. Which was the Urban Decay NAKED Skin Foundation. Been eyeing it for so long but the normal price was to much to fork out (RM142 yikes!). I'm so glad I wait it out. Imagine buying it and finding out about the sale afterwards (━┳━ _ ━┳━)

Those colourful candy like thigies are the Sephora brand bath cubes. The type that fizz when you put it in the water. I got those for my sister. They have a really strong smell considering how small they are. Left it out of the bag for a couple of minutes and the scents fill up my whole bedroom. The scents also lingers on your hands after you hold it even without opening the packing. Its smells nice though not overwhelming.

So that was everything. Don't even think that my purchased can be considered as a haul seeing its only two items (⌒_⌒;) but still happy none the less and there will always be another sale and I will definitely be fully prepared for that (budget wise) (well, hopefully).（＾ｖ＾）

My Essential Brushes

Had some free time today. Decided to deep clean my brushes which has been long overdue. Deep clean is basically washing your brushes with soap + olive oil + water as appose to just washing it with a brush cleanser. Your suppose to deep clean your brushes like once a week or once in every two weeks, depends on how often you using it to keep it clean and long lasting. For me, I only deep clean when I  feel like it. I don't wear makeup that often so its okay, I guess.. V(=^･ω･^=)v

Those above are my essential makeup brushes. I have others but these are the ones that I grab the most. So they are now being lay flat on a towel to dry after a being cleaned. I usually use Brush Guard and let them stand upside down to dry but since I would most probably use them tomorrow I would like for them to dry faster and using Brush Guard usually takes more then 24 hours depending on the weather. It takes especially longer for those two travel size brushes to dry since their are a bit dense and they have synthetic hair which will take a lot longer to dry compare to the other ones that I have.

1. Coastal Scent - Destiny Kabuki On A Stick

Love this for applying my MAC liquid foundation. It has a nice wide dome top make for an easy applications. A bit pocky at times but its tolerable.

2. Sigma Beauty - F05 - Small Contour

Got this brush long time ago way back when it was call SS109. Not loving it. The brush is horrible to wash. It bleeds and the hair fall like crazy（＞д＜）Still using it just because I haven't got any other blush brush yet.

3. Everyday Minerals - Long Handled Kabuki
4. Everyday Minerals - Flat Top Brush

Love these two Everyday Minerals brushes. Very soft and dense. Mainly use it for my MAC Minerals Skin Finish. The size are also perfect for travel.

 5. Loew Cornell - Soft Goat Hair Maxine's Oval Mop - Size: 3/8"

Well, this isn't exactly a makeup brush but it's the exact dupe for MAC 239!! I got it from a craft store at OU. Can't remember what store since it's been ages already. Sorry y-(~。~；)

6. e.l.f. Essential Eye Shadow Brush

7. Crown Brush - C200 Deluxe Crease

Initially bought this thought it can be a dupe for MAC227. Massive fail ٩(×̯×)۶ but all is not loss as it turns out to be the perfect brush to apply my MUFE HD powder on my under eye area.

For Those Sad and Gloomy Days

Have you ever feel down in the dumps? Suddenly all things become meaningless. You just don't care anymore. Sometimes things never go the way you wanted it to be. Things you wish or pray for just never seem to come true. Where in the end you feel is it even worth it to pray for it?

You're not alone, we all go through the same feeling now and again I'm sure. I guess its not wrong to feel hopeless sometime as we are humans. The important thing is how we deal with those feelings. You can choose whether to sit and sulk on what you don't have and everything wrong that's going on in your life or you can take this opportunity to self-reflect and focus on all the good things that you already have.

Here are my tips to get out of the dumps:

1. Stop looking at the negative and start focusing on the positive. 
2. Rather then just sulking be productive.
3. Think about those who are less fortunate then you are and be grateful.
4. Surround yourself with love ones.
5. Lastly, never stop praying, never stop wishing and never stop believing.

Read and understand the meaning. We are never alone, He is always with us. We just  have to be humble and always believed in Him. I know sometime it is easier said then done but without the hardship how can we learn? Remember everything has it purpose and everything happen for a reason.

My Obsession with Sugarscarf

Sugarsacrf a household name to fashionable hijab lovers a.k.a hijabista (◕‿◕✿) I myself can never resist the temptation of buying their products. Every time they update their blog I talked myself out of buying those gorgeous scarf and only succeeded 1 out of 10 times（ー△ー；）

And last week were no difference. I failed again. Miserably. They have this one design that seriously caught my attention and I can't think about anything else but that scarf. I was OBSESSED with it（＞д＜）

I love the design. I love the color. I just love it so much! And since tye-dye pattern are intrend right now I knew I will sold out like hotcakes but still didn't buy it straight away, the reason for that is cause I was on a tight budget and buying only one item using postage method is kind of a waste in my opinion. I usually bought two items if I'm using postage to justify my purchased. RM8 postage for two items is cheaper as apposed to RM7 postage for one item right? That's how I justify it at least (^～^;)ゞ

Ok, back to me being crazy.. I went to my sister and ask if she wants to buy anything? She said NO (×_×;）

As my last resort I went to ask my brother If he can pickup the scarf for me at the boutique (thank God they offer that service for online customers) at Shah Alam since he is studying there. To my joy he said OK ＼（＠￣∇￣＠）／

Time is ticking and without delay I went to check the status and it's still AVAILABLE. Fill in the form and waited patiently for the invoice. After waiting a few hours or so I went to their blog again just to make myself a bit more crazy then I already am and to my dismay the status has change to ALL FULLY RESERVED/ SOLD OUT (；￣Д￣）and I still haven't received my invoice ｡･ﾟﾟ･(>д<)･ﾟﾟ･｡

In my frantic panic mode. I send out and email to them to inquire if the said scarf is available at the boutique. I was determined to have it no matter what the cause now. They reply back that it is still available. I was ready to show my brother the picture of the scarf and pray that he will buy it for me at the boutique but before I can ask him. Ta Da.. The invoice came! Yeay! I made payment just after and they reply that I can come and pick it up starting tomorrow (＾▽＾)

Long storry short, my beloved brother forget to pick it up two days in a row. Thank God he didn't forget to pick it up today (after several SMS reminders from me)

So cute wanna buy more just so I can get the bag =P

Review on the scarf itself, the colour is a tad darker then shown on the blog but it is to be expected. The width on the scarf are also a few inches smaller then my other Thara shawls. That's also to be expected as these shawls are not factory made. They will not always be the same size as the ones you bought before but the difference is nothing major. The material are T-shirt like which I prefer. From the picture you might think its a silky jersey rather then a T-shirt jersey. This are the things you have to be aware off or prepare for when buying online. If you're the type that are very picky about those things, online shopping is not for you.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchased which will make it even more harder for me to resist it in the near future (⌒_⌒;)
